San Vito lo Capo is about 12 km away, Trapani 30 km. The nearest village is Castelluzzo, about 3 km from the house. There you can find groceries, butcher’s, baker’s, newsagent’s, tobacconist’s, a post office, a chemist’s, a church.
Motor vehicles are not allowed inside the Reserve, except for residents. Authorized vehicles can reach the house through a dirt road.
The property is named Cofanello after a little hill nearby.
The villa Cofano enjoys an enclosed piece of land of about 15.00 0 square metres, with olive, almond, carob and ash trees and mediterranean scrub, including different varieties of rare herbs and shrubs. Foxes, rabbits, weasels and other animals inhabit the reserve and the area surrounding the house, together with hawks, seagulls and lots of other birds and insects.
The villa Cofano has two bedrooms, with two beds each, and there is a fifth bed on the intermediate floor overlooking the living room. There are: a kitchen, two spacious wc/shower rooms and an outdoor shower. Every room opens onto its own balcony overlooking the sea, the kitchen and the intermediate floor each have their own direct access to the garden. The sea is easily accessible from the rocks, right below the property across the dirt road.The surrounding area is rich in evidence of ancient rural civilization and archaeological remains.
The villa can accommodate 4 people; it is NOT suitable for children under 6-7 , or persons with reduced mobility.
